PARTIAL DAY TREATMENT

Partial day treatment is an outpatient program for clients that require a higher level of care than traditional outpatient treatment

BENEFITS OF PARTIAL DAY TREATMENT

In addition to medical care, Partial Day Treatment, sometimes referred to as day treatment programs, provides additional services such as behavioral therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, and counseling.

Clients in our partial day program engage in an intensive recovery program and work closely with several addiction treatment professions, such as physicians, nurses, therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers.

Each of our clients works with a therapist and an addiction counselor. They also go through a psychological assessment and see a psychiatrist. Their family is involved in family therapy. However, the treatment plans of each client are highly individualized and tailored to their specific strengths, needs and their preferences.

Some of the therapeutic experiences that we offer are:

  • One-on-one weekly counseling sessions
  • Process oriented group therapy
  • Recovery education
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Family counseling
  • Adventure and Surf Therapy
  • Yoga
  • Meditation/Mindfulness
  • Relapse prevention
  • Comprehensive aftercare planning
  • Access to a continuum of care
  • Team building
  • Emotional regulation skills
  • Nutrition education
  • Goal setting
  • Strengths building
  • Step down from Inpatient Treatment

This level of care is helpful as a step-down transition from acute inpatient care or as an alternative to inpatient treatment. In addition to these services, partial day treatment offers other options, such as relapse prevention training, medication management support, and medication education.

The heart of our culture here at ARC is to find freedom from substance use issues that have them in chains. This is one of our points of difference from other treatment centers. People come in, often with a lot of shame, uncertainty, historical rejection, and they can come in here and find a place where they can fit. And not only do they fit, but they’re welcomed and encouraged, and they become a part of our community. That’s such a big aspect of healing.

The community at ARC also helps our clients feel a sense of belonging, offering a place or a community that they can feel is theirs, that’s something we specialize in. it’s not a modality that we force on them – that’s something that we operate on.

Give us a call, we are standing by and ready to help. (866) 934-4849
